MEET THE ORTHODONTIST
Dr. Destang has dedicated 11 years to studying. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1995 from the University of the West Indies (Mt. Hope Medical Complex) in Trinidad & Tobago. She obtained honours in orthodontics, restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, and ethics & jurisprudence.
She then went on to pursue a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the West Indies (Institute of Business) in Trinidad & Tobago, where she did a major in marketing and a minor in finance.
She was then accepted by the well renowned University of Glasgow Dental School & Hospital in Scotland in 1998 for the Masters of Science in Orthodontics where she completed 2 1/2 years of orthodontic training.
Dr. Destang also has publications based on her thesis research featured in 3 of the world's leading orthodontic and dental journals -
